If you live in Iran, no. If you lived in Iran and legally immigrated to the US, there are ways. Most likely as an interpreter, and definitely not without an extensive background check.

If you live in Iran and you are a US citizen or a legal immigrant (green card holder), yes you may join the military. You will have an interesting time qualifying for certain military jobs that require a security clearance.

They can join the US Army if they can pass the background check first, which means they pretty much need to have been working for the US for an extended amount of time and have no ties to the government regime plus have a greencard with plenty of time left on it.

They don't need to join the US Army, when their daddy Ahmadinejad gets the nukes ready all they have to do is strap one on their back and take off trotting down town Detroit so they can go out in a blaze of glory to meet their virgins in the sky!
