What does Iranians living in Iran think about the Iranian diaspora
What does Iranians living in Iran think about the Iranian diaspora?
Is it true that Iranians living in Iran hate the Iranians that moved out? They think of them as some kind of traitors? I kinda understand why they would think that. Where I live, a lot of the Iranian teens don't know farsi, they know nothing about the Iranian culture or Iran's history and they don't care at all about Iran, yett they still call themselves Iranian/Persian.

I don't HATE them !! I hate when they talk like they care about Iran's future and current events , They want to set free Iran from abroad !!! and encourage people to fight with those bastards ! if you want Iran Free and If You Care about Iran, Come Here And Fight Yourself !! I like them all ! ;-) EDIT : Don't get me wrong , I like all Persians . I meant I hate when they talk about these things , encourage us when they're safe in their houses .

No I don't, everyone is allowed to do whatever he/ she wants with her/ his life, and whether they know about Iranian culture and history or not, they are Persian by blood and no one can change them. However I hate it when some Iranians who moved abroad (after just six months) pretend that they have forgotten Farsi, when they are speaking Persian and they use five English words in a sentence with six words. Also when they try to dictate us from outside what to do or not to do. For example, during the recent crisis after the elections, some Iranians who have lived abroad for years and years tried to change the purpose of the protests, you know, it's kinda ridiculous when someone who doesn't live in Iran, writes in his/ her website "My fellow Iranians, don't be afraid, go in the streets and protest, we are not afraid of bullets, we are not afraid of batons, we are not afraid of tear gas, we are together", while he is at his safe office thousands of miles away from Iran (and they pretend that they are bold and the leader of the movement).

mo i don't i have some iranian friends who live out ! don't care in facr we're all IRANIAN..it' enough for us!

Not really. Because I know if there has to be a change, then it must come from within Iran. On the other hand, I do think it's a shame if they don't care about their country any more or can't speak their own language, which is by the way Parsi ( and not Farsi :)

It's nice to hear that some teens who don't know Persian well, nor know nothing of Persian culture call themselves Iranian. Let's be honest, Iran as a Muslim country doesn't have a good image in the eyes of westerners, after the election protests, it has changed a lot though, so when they relate themselves to such a country, not only it doesn't make me hate them, instead I feel proud of them and I would admire their loyalty toward their homeland which they may have never seen before. As for others, like already mentioned, I hate it when they do nothing for Iran and try to introduce themselves as the leader, although it's cruel to look all of them with this view, some of them were forced to leave Iran for the political reasons and it doesn't mean that they have turned their backs to their motherland.
