A good place to start for finding on-line degrees would be Bears' Guide to Earning Degrees by Distance Learning. By the way, which field of study would you like to earn your degree in?

Any Americans ever live in Iran

Any Americans ever live in Iran?
My husband is a petroleum engineer for a company in Texas and they want to send him on assignment to Tehran for 18 months. I am a bit uneasy about this with everything I've heard about the country. I want to support him in his career and all, but I'm not sure if this would be good for our family. We would be going there with our 3-year-old son. Anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance.

sounds like a tough choice. my take is there would be safer situations in the middle east. unless there was significant benefits/career improvement i would avoid the opportunity.

Do you live in Iran? What is REALLY going on there

Do you live in Iran? What is REALLY going on there?
do you believe that president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is really ONLY interested in nuclear power to produce electricity? Do you agree or disagree with clerics and spiritual leaders? how do you view western country's like America? I hope we can resolve our differances peacefully and celebrate our simialarities. I find your culture FASCINATING and believe that the younger generation is the key to peace. please allow me to contact you

Well I am Iranian-American and I can safely say I hope for the same thing. I don't like the government system being run in Iran at all, nor do I like it's president.
2 :
the one calling the shots i think is khamenei the spiritual leader and some other guys. its rumoured they overturned the official election results last year. They want to be seen as above israel in morality and power etc. so its pretty logical having the same military capability would be a longterm goal I think their culture is very odd with too many extremes. there are some strict muslim types there and some that are very anti-tradition and want to copy american styles etc. They dont mix well and iran is probably not going to be an attractive place to live for a long time. I also dislike their how they act. its like they all have big noses (very big and obvious.) The women to me are generally ugly.

Usually countries that need more electricity are the ones growing economically such as China . But in Iran the economy is kind of shot because of the sanctions and constant bickering with their neighbors of useless issues. There are many ways to generate electricity other than using nuclear power, such as oil, coal, wind, gas, & solar power all of which are abundant in Iran. And given the cost & risk of atomic plants it'd have been much cheaper for Iran to simply hookup its electric grid to neighboring countries grids and transfer all the excess electricity it needs from their grids , until which time it can upgrade its own power station, without any risk to its own. For example power can be transferred to Iran via Kuwait which is already hooked to a regional transfer grid from other Arabian countries. Or in the north Iran could hookup tp Turkish or Russian grids. That is why people in the region have a problem believing Iran is only building the reactor for peaceful purposes, there is more to it than that.

Yes , I live in Iran , I hope He is only interested in producing electricity , but I doubt that . and I disagree with clerics specially The man in power (kh...) , I believe All countries should be friends with each other and nothing should be able to make them enemies , I Love My country and its culture and I like USA but I'm not westernized ,I'm just sick of Hatred between them , I like being in Peace with all the world , And Ahmadi nejad Isn't Our President , They rigged the Election ;) You can Contact me by my profile :)

yes, i live in Iran. Ahmadi Nejad is NOT interested in nuke, he seems to need it for peaceful purposes. i don't know whether he's going to utilize nuclear bomb or not.( in fact no one knows). but something for sure, all politicians over the world say that we care about people but they don't. doesn't matter you live in US or UK or Iran. the point is that, some are smart like Obama(in America) and Khatami( in Iran) while, some are idiot like Bush (in US) and Ahmadnejad( in iran). that's all i'm pointing out. if i got the power, i would definitely abuse it. time and again iranian peeple chant " death to America" lol. to be honest, as a college student, it doesn't make sense to me at all. and a robust remark about your saying, " i find your culture fascinating". hey dude please don't be hypocrite, honesty is better than empty lies. and unequivocally the younger generation is not the key to peace. CLERICS. some are fine, others suck( in my estimation). violence is never ending. and please do NOT charge islam for Terrorist attacks. all religions are potentially to kill people including Islam. extremists exit in all cultures. i'm a journalist if you want to contact me, here is my Email: lack_of_me@yahoo.com

ask one of the below poverty, going to bed hungry, denied a good education, and with no health care families in the United States to take you in as a foreign exchange student. that should be a blast.
2 :
You can start by applying for all the qualifying tests such as the SAT / ACt and TOEFL to see if you get score to qualify for any of the schools you would be willing to attend. Then you have to see if you have enough money to pay for your tuitions, accommodation and other expenses.
